Request New Service

New Service ~ Residential

Complete Residential Utility Application and submit signed application, along with a valid picture ID by email to Utility Billing Clerk or fax to (940) 686-4338.

In addition, if you are a resident 65 years or older, please complete an Application for Senior Citizen Discount.

New Service Connection Fee: A Service Connection Fee (Connect Fee) of $100.00 shall be charged to a customer's account when the water meter is turned on for new service. Additional fees may apply for non-standard sized meters.

*Customers that have had prior service within the past two (2) years, for a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive billings without being delinquent.

New Service ~ Commercial

Complete Commerical Utility Application and submit signed application along with a valid picture ID by email to Utility Billing Clerk or fax to (940) 686-4338.

A Certificate of Occupancy Inspection is required on all properties with commercial or industrial uses at a fee of $20.00, paid at the time of application for service. Please submit Certificate of Occupancy Form and fee with your Utility Application. Once your applications have been submitted, you will be provided with the City Inspector's contact information so you can schedule the best time for them to complete the inspection. Please note: At this time we cannot accept credit card payments for this fee. Cash or Check only.

New Service Connection Fee: A Service Connection Fee (Connect Fee) of $150.00 shall be charged to a customer's account when the water meter is turned on for new service. Additional fees may apply for non-standard sized meters.

Landlord Accounts

Landlords using water & sewer services to clean a Single Family Residence for rental, for no more than 14 days, the Service Connection Fee shall be twenty dollars ($20.00). Landlords needing service for more than 14 days shall comply with New Service Connection requirements. Landlords may be asked to provide proof of ownership of the property, in order to establish a Landlord account.

Transferring Services

A Transfer of Service fee of forty dollars ($40.00) shall be charged to a customer's account when the water service is transferred from one location to another on the City Utility System.

Request for Utility Service Disconnect

Complete Disconnect Request Form and submit signed request, along with a valid picture ID by email to Utility Billing Clerk or fax to (940) 686-4338.

Deposits

FINAL BILL ~ RETURN OF DEPOSIT: The Utility Service Deposit or a portion thereof will be paid to the customer when final service is rendered, providing the final bill has been paid or after the deposit has been applied toward the final bill. Please be sure to provide us with your forwarding address.

DEPOSITS REQUIRED DUE TO NON-PAYMENT: In the event a customer's water service is terminated for non-payment, to re-establish customer's account, a Utility Service Deposit shall be required prior to service reconnection. A Utility Service Deposit shall remain in an account held by the City for the life of the customer's account. The deposit will be charged as follows: Residential - $100 Commercial - $150 Additional fees may apply for non-standard sized meters.
